The first time we get together is a straightforward fact-finding appointment. The goal of the appointment is for us to ascertain where you’ve been financially, where you currently are, and where you would like to be. By going through a short questionnaire, we will determine what, if anything, we will be able to do for you in your particular case.
Please bring with you any and all documents that are pertinent to our financial discussions, including but not limited to:
- Your most recent statements from mutual funds, variable annuities, fixed annuities, stocks, bonds, brokerage accounts, etc.
- Certificates of Deposit (CDs) maturity dates
- Long Term Care policies
- Life Insurance policies
How we get paid is determined on a case-by-case basis. The reason we say this at the outset is because we have absolutely no idea in what capacity we will be working with you. In some instances, we may charge a flat fee to put together a comprehensive financial plan for you. In the case of certain investments, we may make our money by charging an annual fee based upon a percentage of your investable assets we manage. Finally, in the instances where you purchase a particular financial product, we actually do not charge you for your purchase since we are given a commission from the underlying financial institution from which you buy.
We offer and utilize a number of financial products and vehicles that may be suitable in your particular case:
- Direct Participation Programs
- Exchange Traded Funds
- Fixed Index Annuities
- Index Funds
- Indexed Universal Life Insurance
- Money Markets
- Mutual Funds
- Real Estate Investment Trusts
- Term Life Insurance
- Variable Annuities
- Volatility Controlled Indices
- Universal Life Insurance
- Whole Life Insurance
